TO CUPE MB team, and Winnipeg Area Locals,

Local 744 – representing School Support Workers in the St. James Assiniboia School Division, held an information rally on February 3rd outside of the School Board office to call on the School Division to prioritize a fair deal for CUPE members.

Leanne, Helen, and Lana were able to attend.

Cupe 3473 President Leanne Gregorchuk seen here dressed in black and waving the pink flag, braved the cold today in support for Local 744. Cupe 744 represent custodial, maintenance staff, bus driver & computer techs for the St. James-Assiniboia School Division have been waiting over 2 years for a new contract. Another rally is planned for tomorrow Tuesday Feb. 4 6:30pm-7:30pm 2574 Portage Ave. Leanne is wearing the pink scarf. FAIR DEAL NOW!!!

 CUPE Mb Convention May 17th – 19th 2023

On the first day of Convention CUPE 3473 as well as other CUPE members from across Manitoba joined with CUPE 737 (Brandon School Division), Brandon Pride, Sexuality Education Resource Centre, and Knox United Church –  Brandon in a protest march against a dangerous proposal before the Brandon School Division that seeks to ban books with life-supporting 2SLGBTQI+ content.
